Joe Jon Finley (born January 30, 1985 in Brownwood, Texas) is an American football tight end who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Oklahoma. The Detroit Lions signed him on September 8, 2010. Despite playing well in pre-season, Finley was cut by the Lions on September 3, 2011. He was re-signed on October 13, but waived again on October 26.
He played high-school football at Arlington High School, in Arlington, Texas. His dad was the head football coach at Arlington High School.
